Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms govern your use of 2hives (the website at 2hives.com and the audio programs it creates). 2hives is operated by 2BEE FARM PTY LTD (ABN 57 697 830 461), trading as 2hives ("we", "us"). By creating an account, creating a program or making a purchase, you agree to these terms.
1. What 2hives is
2hives creates personalised audio programs for relaxation, meditation and self-exploration. Each program combines a layered binaural tone and noise bed with a spoken voiceover. The voiceover is written by an AI system from your preferences and read by a synthetic (text-to-speech) voice.
2hives is not a medical device or a health service, and it doesn't provide medical, psychological or therapeutic advice or treatment. Please read our Disclaimer and Safety information before listening.
2. Who can use 2hives
You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission and supervision, to use 2hives. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure, and for activity under your account.
3. Using the service safely
- Listen with stereo headphones, in a safe place where you can fully relax.
- Never listen while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that needs your attention.
- If you have epilepsy or a history of seizures, a hearing condition, a heart condition, or a mental health condition (for example psychosis or a dissociative condition), or if you are pregnant, consult a qualified health professional before using 2hives.
- Stop listening if you feel unwell or uncomfortable.
4. Your preferences and AI-generated scripts
- When you write or edit a prompt, you give us permission to process it, including sending it to our AI provider, to generate your script and audio.
- Prompts may only be used to shape your audio program. You must not submit content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, sexual, about self-harm, about identifiable real people without their consent, or that tries to misuse or manipulate the service. We may refuse or remove such content.
- AI-generated scripts may occasionally contain mistakes or wording you don't like. You can regenerate them within your plan's limits.
- You remain responsible for the personal information you choose to include in a prompt (for example your name).
4a. Your own voice and Community voices
- Only your own voice. You may create a voice only from your own live recordings, and only if you are 18 or older. You must not record, imitate or try to clone anyone else's voice, play back a recording of another person, or use a voice to impersonate, deceive or harm anyone. We check that the recordings are from the same person and may refuse, suspend or delete a voice, and close the account, when we believe these rules are broken.
- Using it. Recording a voice and listening to its previews costs nothing. Making sessions with a cloned voice (yours or a community voice) needs 2hives Plus, or a session or course you have bought.
- Publishing. If you are signed in and 18 or older, you can make your voice public in Community voices, at no charge, by giving a separate consent (a checkbox and a spoken sentence). You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your voice model to speak sessions that other users create on 2hives, and to play short samples of it on 2hives, until you unpublish or delete it. Sessions made before that remain licensed to the users who made them under section 5. Your display name and description must not name or suggest a real or famous person, and must follow these terms. Before a voice is listed, we review it automatically: text checks run first, then an AI service acting for us checks the display name and description and approves or rejects it straight away. Anything it is unsure about goes to a person at 2hives. We may hide or remove a voice at any time, and a person at 2hives can review it again, for example after reports from other users. We don't pay voice owners at present. If we introduce a revenue share, we will tell you and ask you to accept its terms first.
- Choosing a community voice. Community voices are made by other users. We review them, but we don't guarantee how any voice sounds. Report a voice if you believe it imitates someone without their consent, or is offensive or of low quality.
- Profile pictures. If you upload a picture for your voice, it must be one you have the right to use, and it must not show nudity, violence, hate symbols, children, a famous person or several people, logos or advertising, contact details, links or QR codes, offensive gestures, or disturbing images. You allow us to show it next to your voice on 2hives until you remove it. We check pictures before others see them and may refuse, hide or remove any picture.
- Watermark. Audio spoken in a cloned voice carries an inaudible watermark identifying it as synthetic. You must not try to remove it.
- How we handle voice data is explained in our Privacy Policy. We never use your voice model to train AI models, and we never use your own-voice recordings for training unless you tick the separate, optional "Help bring 2hives to my language" box. If you tick it, you give 2hives a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use those recordings to train its voice models for your language, without payment, until you withdraw; this never makes a voice that sounds like you available to anyone.
4b. Reading sessions for 2hives voices
-
Reading sessions are by invitation only. You must be 18 or older, and you may only record your own voice.
-
Licence to 2hives. By giving your consent you grant 2hives a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your recordings to train synthetic voices. You also grant 2hives the right to use those voices, and the audio they produce, in its products, including commercially, without further payment to you.
-
Withdrawing. You can withdraw your consent at any time. We then:
- delete your recordings;
- stop using them in new training;
- stop using voice versions trained with them.
Audio already delivered to customers before you withdrew stays with them.
-
No payment is made for reading sessions unless we agree it with you separately in writing.
-
Recording rules. You must not record anyone else, or read anything other than the sentences shown. We may remove recordings that break these rules.
5. Ownership and licence
- We own the 2hives software, sound design, templates, default scripts and branding.
- Subject to these terms, and to payment where it applies, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to listen to and download the programs you create, for your own private, non-commercial use.
- You may not resell, publicly broadcast, publish or distribute 2hives audio, or use it to train AI models, without our written permission. Practitioner plans may include broader rights as stated in their offer.
6. Prices and payment
- Prices are shown before you pay, in your currency (Australian dollars, US dollars, euros, Brazilian reais or Japanese yen, depending on where you are or the currency you choose in your account), with taxes included where they apply (GST in Australia, VAT or sales tax elsewhere). Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we don't store your card details.
- Listening without paying: the 5 free hours described below are the only way to listen without paying. Session 1 of a course plays like any other session, using your free hours while they last and otherwise needing a purchase or 2hives Plus. Anything you already own stays yours, including a session 1 you claimed at no charge before 13 October 2026. Listening on your free hours can't be downloaded, and fair-use limits apply (currently up to 3 new sessions a day per person). Creating multiple accounts to get around these limits isn't allowed.
- 5 hours free: each new account (one per verified email address) gets 5 hours of listening, valid for 14 days from sign-up. It covers streaming any session of any of our courses or single programs, session 1 included, personalised and without mentions, and up to 3 scripts written from your own prompt. Only time actually listened counts. When the hours are used up or the 14 days end, a session needs a purchase or 2hives Plus. It doesn't cover downloads, interactive sessions or journeys sold by creators, and it has no cash value. Accounts that existed when we launched it received the same 5 hours, valid for 14 days from launch. We may withdraw the 5 free hours if they were obtained by creating multiple accounts or otherwise abusing the offer.
- Paid sessions and courses (prices shown on our Pricing page, for example A$9 per session or A$39 per course) remove the mentions, add your own prompt and let you download your audio. Buying a session you already listened to on your free hours makes a clean new version of it.
- Promotion codes, referral credits and gift cards are subject to the conditions shown with them. They have no cash value, and may be withdrawn if misused.
- Promotions: we sometimes show a personal offer (for example, a course at a lower price for 6 hours after you arrive from one of our ads). A personal offer is for one person and one course, lasts only for the time shown, is offered once, and can't be combined with other promotion codes. The regular price is the price everyone else pays.
6a. 2hives Plus (subscription)
- What it is: 2hives Plus is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly. The price, in your currency and including taxes where they apply, is shown on our Pricing page and again on the payment page before you subscribe.
- What it includes while it is active: streaming every session of every course, personalised and without mentions; scripts written from your own prompt (fair use: up to 20 a month); downloads (FLAC and M4A) of the sessions you make while subscribed; up to 2 interactive sessions a month; the full editor; and new courses as they open. Unused monthly allowances don't carry over. We may adjust fair-use limits to stop abuse, and will tell you before we reduce them.
- Plus-only journeys: some journeys are available only with Plus. Every session of them needs an active subscription (your 5 free hours also play them while they last) and they are not sold separately. Sessions of these journeys you bought before 12 October 2026 stay yours.
- Plus passes: we sometimes share Plus passes at no charge. A pass turns Plus on for the time it states (for example one month), with no payment details, no automatic renewal and nothing charged; when it ends, Plus simply stops unless you subscribe. Each account can use one pass in any 12 months (unless the pass says otherwise). Passes must be used before their expiry date, have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money.
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and the then-current price is charged to your payment method, until you cancel.
- Cancelling: you can cancel at any time from your account page (Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's secure customer portal). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Plus stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. You can also switch between monthly and yearly there.
- Refunds: we don't give refunds for partly used periods, except where the law requires it. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected (see section 7).
- EU and UK customers: Plus starts as soon as you subscribe. On the payment page you ask us to start it immediately and acknowledge that, once you start using it, you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal. If you haven't used Plus at all, you may still withdraw within 14 days of subscribing by emailing info@2hives.com, and we will refund you.
- Price changes: we will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription. If you don't want to continue, you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- Failed payments: if a renewal payment fails, Plus stays on for 3 days while you update your card. After that it is paused until payment succeeds or the subscription ends.
- When Plus ends: sessions you made with Plus can no longer be streamed or downloaded from 2hives (files you already downloaded remain yours under section 5). Anything you bought separately, such as a session or a course, stays yours whatever happens to your subscription.
- Closing your account cancels your subscription immediately, with no further charges.
6b. Gifts
- What a gift is: you can buy a whole course, or the first session of a course, for someone else at the same price as buying it for yourself. A one-session gift is always the course's first session, because later sessions open in order; a whole-course gift covers every session. The recipient gets a gift link (by email at the time you choose, or from you) and opens it by signing in to 2hives. Once opened, the session or course belongs to the recipient's account, on these terms.
- Validity: an unopened gift is valid for 3 years from the date of purchase. After that it expires and can no longer be opened. The expiry date is shown on your receipt and on the gift page.
- The link is the gift: anyone who has the gift link can open it, so share it only with the recipient. We can't replace a gift that someone else opened with your link.
- Refunds: the refund terms in section 7 apply to the buyer. If we refund a gift, it stops working. A gift that has been opened is treated like the recipient's own purchase.
- Promotion codes: promotion codes may be used for gifts unless their conditions say otherwise. Codes that give a session or course at no charge can't be used for gifts.
- Messages: your message to the recipient must follow the same rules as prompts (section 4). We may refuse a message, for example one with links or health claims.
6c. Live together sessions
- Group sessions, free, every week: we hold scheduled group sessions where everyone listens to the same session at the same time. There is no charge to join; times, capacity and the session played may change, and a session can be cancelled.
- The same safety rules apply (section 3): never listen while driving or operating machinery.
- Reflection wall: after a session, signed-in users who are 18 or older may share a short reflection. Be kind and keep it about your own experience: no health claims, advice, links, advertising, personal details of anyone, or content that is unlawful, hateful or sexual. We may hold, hide or remove any post, and we may suspend posting for anyone who misuses it. By posting, you allow us to show your post on 2hives.
- Shared intentions: signed-in users aged 18 or older may share one short intention per moment (typed, or spoken and turned into text). Keep it kind and about a wish for yourself, others or the world: no names or personal details of anyone, no contact details, health claims or advice, instructions to others, advertising, or religious or political attacks. We may shorten it for grammar only, read only some intentions, or read none; reading is anonymous and in a synthetic voice. By sharing, you allow us to read it aloud in the live session and on our live channels.
6d. Live session chat
- The chat on a live session page is open for 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after the session. To write, you must be signed in, 18 or older, and use a nickname.
- Be kind. No harassment, hate, sexual content, threats, advertising or links, personal details of anyone, health claims or advice, or pretending to be 2hives staff. The same rules apply to voice messages.
- Every message is checked automatically, including by AI, before others see it. We may hold, hide or remove any message, slow the chat down, and pause posting for anyone who breaks these rules (automatically after repeated hidden messages).
- Messages and voice messages are deleted after 48 hours.
6e. Hosting a group
- Who can host. Plus members who are 18 or older can host group sessions: private ones for invited guests (up to 25), and public ones that anyone can find and join. Everyone who writes or speaks in a group must be signed in and 18 or older. Never charge anyone to join.
- Public events are published straight away. We check every public event automatically (including with AI) before it appears, but no person reviews it first. We may still hold, change, unlist or remove any event, at any time, without notice if needed.
- Your host name is public. Your public events show the host name you choose. It doesn't have to be your real name, but it must not be someone else's name, suggest you are 2hives staff, or suggest you are a health professional or therapist unless you are and say so accurately.
- What you're responsible for. You're responsible for your event's title, description and intention, what you say and post, and how you run it. Keep it calm and honest:
- no medical, health or therapy claims, and no promised results;
- no advertising, links, contact details, fundraising or selling, and no invitations to meet or talk outside 2hives;
- nothing unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual or dangerous, and no attacks on any religion, belief or group;
- use your own words, or words you have the right to use; don't use other companies' or programmes' trademarks or names to promote your event;
- don't record your event or anyone in it.
- Event pictures. Every event has a picture. If you upload one, you promise that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it shows no children, well-known people, logos or text. We check pictures automatically (including by AI) before they are shown, and we may refuse, hide or remove any picture at any time. If you don't upload one, we make one from your event's title and description.
- You are not 2hives. Hosts are members, not our staff, partners or representatives, and an event is not a health, therapy or crisis service. Don't present it as one.
- Your tools, and ours. You can mute or remove people, close or slow the chat, and end your event early. You can't switch off the automatic checks or the help for anyone in crisis. Reports go to the 2hives team, not to you.
- What we may do. If an event or host breaks these rules, or we receive reports we need to look into, we may remove the event, pause or end your hosting, or suspend your account. We tell you the reason, and you can ask us to review a decision at info@2hives.com. Repeated or serious breaches can lead to permanent removal from hosting.
- Permission to show your event. You allow us to show, list and promote your public event and its title, description, picture and host name on 2hives, and to turn your intention into the words of the session, for as long as the event is listed and as long as needed to handle any report about it.
7. Refunds
- Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a program is faulty (for example, it doesn't play or doesn't match what you ordered), we will re-render it or, if we can't fix it, refund you.
- Voluntary 14-day refund on Standard programs: if you aren't happy with a Standard purchase, email info@2hives.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund it.
- For Custom programs, course bundles and the Journey series, we will first re-render or adjust your program. If it remains faulty, we will refund you in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep 2hives available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, improve or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature you have purchased, you will keep access to the audio files you have already downloaded.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. To the extent permitted by law:
- our liability for any failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the price you paid;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss;
- our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time from your account page; this deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for others.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will show the date of the latest version, and notify you by email of material changes. Continuing to use 2hives after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer in another country, you keep any rights given to you by the laws of that country.
