What you'll practise
- The Thin Place — A misty shore where, in the tales, the world grows thin: a stone, the sea and the sky running together.
- The Old Well — A mossy stone well in a green hollow, still water to look into and nothing to do.
- The Seal Companion — A grey seal of the tales, imagined as a steady companion that swims beside you.
- The Sea Road — A small boat through the mist to the island across the sea, and the way back.
Sessions
6 sessions · 3 h
-
1. The Thin Place
Walk down to a misty shore, where the old tales say the world grows thin, and rest against a stone above the sea.
-
2. The Salmon and the Hazels
Follow a clear river to a pool ringed by hazel trees, where the salmon of knowledge swims in the old tales.
-
3. The Old Well
Sit beside a mossy stone well in a green hollow, the kind found in the old tales, and watch the still water settle.
-
4. The Seal Companion
Meet a grey seal at the rock pools, a selkie of the tales, and swim with it through quiet green water.
-
5. Across the Sea
Take a small boat through the mist to Tír na nÓg, the island of the tales where the summer is long, and come home again.
-
6. The Way Home
Open practice: the shore, the pool, the well and the sea are yours. A few cues, long silences, and a clear way back.
About the sound
Each session layers soft tone pairs, one in each ear, over a gentle noise bed, with a voice guiding you. Research on binaural beats is mixed; we publish both sides.
