What you'll practise
- Stillness — Sitting upright and quiet, with the breath slow and natural, before God.
- The Jesus Prayer — One short prayer repeated with the breath, then silently.
- Lectio Divina — Slow prayer with a short passage: read, reflect, respond, rest.
- The Examen — An evening look back over the day: light, thanks, review, mercy, tomorrow.
- Gratitude — Naming gifts, and praying Mary's song of thanks from the Gospel of Luke.
- Silence — One word held lightly, and long wordless silence.

-
1. Arriving in God's Presence
Sit in stillness, settle the breath, and rest in a single line of scripture: Be still, and know that I am God.
-
2. The Jesus Prayer
One short, ancient prayer, prayed with the breath: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
-
3. Lectio Divina
Pray with a short passage, slowly: Psalm 23 read, reflected on, answered and rested in, the four movements of Lectio Divina.
-
4. The Examen
An evening prayer that looks back over the day with kindness: light, thanks, review, mercy and a look toward tomorrow.
-
5. Gratitude and the Magnificat
Name what you are thankful for, then pray Mary's song from the Gospel of Luke (1:46-55), and rest in thanks.
-
6. Resting in Silence
Very few words: one chosen word held lightly, and a long, wordless silence in God's presence.
About the sound
Each session layers soft tone pairs, one in each ear, over a gentle noise bed, with a voice guiding you. Research on binaural beats is mixed; we publish both sides.
