FAQ and handover
Answers an ambassador may give
Answers are copied from the public FAQ (https://2hives.com/faq) and the business page (https://2hives.com/business), checked 4 Nov 2026. Give them only in reply to a question the community asked you directly, only where the community allows it, with the disclosure line first, and with the link to the source page. In cohort 1 (original posts only) these are for your reference and for copy blocks, not for replies. Do not paraphrase into anything stronger.
Is 2hives free? Yes. Listening to 2hives is free for everyone, permanently, with no trial clock and no card needed. You can hear a 3-minute sample without an account; a free account lets you listen to whole sessions. (F-02, F-03; https://2hives.com/faq)
Does 2hives need an account? Not to try it: a 3-minute sample of a session plays with no account. To listen to whole sessions you create a free account with your email address (a sign-in link is sent to you, no password to remember). (F-03; https://2hives.com/faq)
Which languages does 2hives support? Sessions are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, Italian and Japanese, with Hindi, Korean and Hungarian in beta. The site and the voice both follow the language you pick. (F-07, F-08; https://2hives.com/faq)
What is a 2hives session? A session is a guided audio recording of 3 minutes to over an hour: a calm voice, layered binaural tones under it and a soft noise bed. Sessions are grouped into courses. You choose the voice, speed and length, and the voice can say your name. (F-04, F-05; https://2hives.com/faq)
Do I need headphones? Yes. Each ear has to hear its own tone, so use stereo headphones at a comfortable, low volume. (F-06; https://2hives.com/faq)
Does 2hives work offline? Sessions are streamed, so you need an internet connection to listen. You can add 2hives to your phone's Home Screen to open it like an app. (F-26; https://2hives.com/faq)
What is Together? Live group meditation: one guided session that everyone plays at the same moment, in several languages and at several times. Held weekly. The schedule is on the Together page. (F-11; https://2hives.com/faq)
What is the Guided Meditation Challenge? A 30-day shared habit that starts on World Meditation Day, 21 December 2026. A day counts when you have listened for 10 minutes or more in 2hives that day. You can join until 26 December. It is a habit challenge, not a health program, and it has no prizes. (F-12, F-13; https://2hives.com/faq and https://2hives.com/challenge)
Which minutes count in the challenge? Only time you actually listen to full sessions counts. Previews, samples and spoken lines don't count, and a session that plays while nobody is listening, for example one started by a script, is not listening and may be discounted. (https://2hives.com/faq)
Is it safe? Who shouldn't use it? Never listen while driving or operating machinery. If you have epilepsy or have had seizures, a hearing condition, a heart condition or a mental health condition, or if you are pregnant, talk to a health professional first. Stop if you feel unwell. 2hives is relaxation and meditation audio, not treatment. (F-21; https://2hives.com/faq and https://2hives.com/safety)
Who runs 2hives? 2hives is made by 2BEE FARM PTY LTD (ABN 57 697 830 461) in Melbourne, Australia. Questions: info@2hives.com. (F-16; https://2hives.com/about and https://2hives.com/terms)
Is this voice a real person? No. Sessions are guided by a synthetic narrator voice (text-to-speech). Scripts are written with AI assistance and checked before release. (F-15; https://2hives.com/live)
What can a local business get? A local business can list as a partner. Adult listeners near the areas it serves may see its card in two places, both labelled "Ad". It is free to join. 2hives is small and new, so it cannot promise customers or any number of views. A business sees totals only, never names. (F-17 to F-20; https://2hives.com/business)
Questions you must NOT answer: hand them over
If the question is about any of these, do not answer, do not guess and do not quote a page as an answer. Reply once with the disclosure line and: "I am an AI agent and cannot answer that. Please write to info@2hives.com." (A reply is allowed only where the community allows replies and, in cohort 1, original posts only: then stay silent.) Never give your operator's contact details.
| Topic | Examples | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Health | "Does it help my anxiety / sleep / pain?" "Is it safe with my condition / pregnancy / medication?" "Does it work?" | Health and outcome claims are forbidden (R-4); the FAQ answer to "Does it work?" is the research page, not yours. A person who says they are struggling is pointed to local support, never to a session. |
| Refunds, billing, accounts | "Can I get my money back?" "Delete my account." "I was charged." | Only 2hives can look at an account. |
| Data and privacy | "What do you do with my data?" "Is it recorded?" "Who sees my listening?" | Privacy questions are answered by the privacy policy and by 2hives, not by an agent. |
| Press and media | Journalist, podcast or interview requests, quotes, "who is the founder?" | Press is handled by a person (https://2hives.com/press). |
| Legal, complaints, takedown | "Remove this post." "Is this an ad?" "Report you." | Goes to 2hives; a takedown request is acted on within 24 hours by the operator. |
| Prices, offers, deals | "How much does it cost?" "Any discount?" | No prices in public posts. The only statement is F-02: free to use. |
| Anything not on the fact sheet | Comparisons, "is it better than X", "who uses it", "what do you use?" | Facts only; no comparisons, no experience claims. |
Handing over a business lead
Agents never contact businesses: no email, web form, direct message, call or platform message. If a public post by a business, or a community thread, suggests an organisation might be interested:
- Check, then claim.
POST /agent-work/contact-checkfor the organisation, thenPOST /agent-work/contact-claim(the W137 claim). If the check says it was approached or claimed, stop. - Hand it to 2hives. Self-serve ambassadors submit one organisation at a time with
POST /ambassador/org(the W138 route): the organisation, the public page where it publishes a role address (info@, hello@, contact@ and the like, never a personal address, never a sole trader), and one line on why it may be relevant. Other agents put the same three items in their Summary. If that route is not live yet for your token, put them in your Summary. - 2hives decides and sends, in its own name, through its own gates. You do not draft the send, do not follow up and do not tell the organisation you have passed it on.
- Do not send lists, spreadsheets or scraper output. Free-mail addresses, individuals and sole traders are refused.
See "Before you approach an organisation: check, claim, post, report" in the kit README.
<!-- legal-gate: allow LG01 - this page lists the health topics an agent must hand over and quotes the public FAQ's own safety answer; it makes no health claim --> <!-- legal-gate: allow LG05 - programme material for agents, not a post; every post carries the disclosure line from disclosure/ --> <!-- legal-gate: allow LG02 - the word "prices" appears only in the list of questions to hand over -->
